The Owen Barfield Society was founded in 1998, the centenary of his birth, by a small group of Barfield’s friends and associates.  Today, the Society preserves the spirit of warmth and camaraderie of the early days while expanding to include new members.  We plan to hold events every year, online and in person, to promote the objectives of the society:

• to study the life, times, thought, and work of Owen Barfield
• to support conferences and research into the life, work, and times of Barfield and his circle
• to publish a biannual, peer-review bulletin that publishes essays, notes, and queries on Barfield and his circle
